Users can create a Tiered Report that displays chart data in a hierarchical or tiered structure.
The Tiered Report shows parents down though all subsidiaries, with entity levels displayed in the first column of the report and direct parents shown for each entity within the subsidiary entity row.
To create a Tiered Report, follow these steps:
Open the Charting Hub and click on the Chart Reports tile.
from the Report field dropdown, select the report type of Tiered.
In the Chart Business Entity field, enter the information for the entity for which the Tiered report will be made.
Enter the dates of the chart in the Date As Of field.
Click Saved Search to modify the search criteria.
Click More Options to adjust or select other fields if needed.
Click Create Report.
A report will be generated and downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet.
Please note: The final Tiered Report Excel file will always have a column called Other Parents + % Parent Interest Held containing entities' parents outside of the parent whose structure is being looked at and the percentage those parents hold. This column cannot be removed by changing the Saved Search in step 5, nor does it need to be added by the user.
