Introduction
If you are a GEMS user who would like to learn how to perform a task within the database, the GEMS AI Support Bot can answer questions you have and provide further reading to learn more.
Access the GEMS AI Support Bot
Click the GEMS AI icon on any GEMS page to open the GEMS AI Assistant, from which you can ask questions of the GEMS AI Support Bot.
Ask a question of the GEMS AI Support Bot
In this scenario, we need to add a new entity record to GEMS but aren't sure how to do so. We therefore will first ask the GEMS Support Bot How do I add an entity?
1. From any page within GEMS, locate and click the GEMS AI icon to open the GEMS AI Assistant. In this scenario, we'll click the GEMS AI icon from the Home Hub.
2. Enter your question into the field at the bottom of the GEMS AI Assistant, then click the Send icon. In this scenario, we'll enter and send How do I add an entity?
The answer to the selected question appears in an expanded GEMS AI panel.
3. Click the View button to expand the Support Bot’s answer into a series of numbered steps.
The numbered steps appear under Instructions within the Support Bot's answer.
