What Can GEMS AI Do?

Current Capabilities

GEMS AI is now live on all GEMS databases and currently offers Support assistance, Document Analysis and Tagging, Autofill, Analyze, and Entity Search capabilities.

To launch GEMS AI, use the icon located at the bottom right of your GEMS workspace.

Users can get bespoke support via the GEMS AI Support Bot, which provides instant answers to any of your support queries and links to further training documentation. For more information on using the Support Bot, see this article.

GEMS AI can also summarize, compare, and translate any document stored in GEMS, whether it's a text-based PDF or a DOCX file, thereby enhancing accessibility for all teams.

GEMS AI is also able to automatically tag documents within GEMS, greatly reducing the time spent entering data when uploading documents.

GEMS AI can automatically extract and input data from source documents into GEMS Screens, saving you valuable time. For more information, see this article.

The AI Analyze tool can look at records from across your GEMS database and provide insights into potential gaps, inconsistencies, regulatory needs, and compliance risks.

GEMS AI Entity Search allows users to create data reports (searches) using their natural language. They are able to easily build searches for screens and data, summaries or ask for analysis on data within their GEMS database.

We will use the AI LLM to convert the user's natural language request into something the system can understand (an API request) and then query the GEMS database and present the data back to the user. For the creation of large reports this information will then be presented back to the user in tabular format.
