The LLCH01 is used by Limited Liability Partnerships incorporated in England, England & Wales, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland to report a change of details of a person entity who is appointed as a Member or Designated Member of the LLP.

The LLCH01 reports the person entity's:

· Change of Name

· Change of Service Address

· Change of a Usual Residential Address

· Change of Country/State of Residence

· Change of Status of Member

LLCH01 files can be generated as a PDF. Additionally, an LLCH01 can be electronically filed within GEMS if users have prepared their database for e-filing, as outlined by the steps in this article.

An LLCH01 form can be generated and e-filed immediately after updating relevant GEMS data for the person serving as a member or designated member of an LLP.

1. Update the person’s GEMS record on the appropriate Screen. In the example below, we’ll update the surname of Hannah, a designated member of an LLP, from Smith to Brown on the Basics Screen of her record.

2. After saving your changes, GEMS will create an Activity with a single To-Do Item. Click the Generate icon next to the To-Do Item to open the LLCH01 in the Filing Module.

If you close the Activity here prior to generating the LLCH01, locate the Activity through your Activities Hub, click its name, expand the To-Do Items section, then click the Generate icon.

3. Within the Filing Module, review each area on the left side of the page to ensure the data is accurate.

4. Click Edit on any page to modify the data, if needed.

5. Click Validate to have GEMS check the data. If any errors are returned, modify the data as directed, then validate again until no errors appear.

6. Click Create PDF to generate a PDF version of the LLCH01, or click Submit to electronically file the LLCH01.
