Finding and Updating Appointees

In this example we will search for a Director and change the Appointment Type.

From the Business Entity snapshot Appointments panel, click the Appointments panel title, this will open the Appointments screen. By default, the associated search may run as Current Appointments.

To change the search results criteria in order to see All Appointments (historical as well as current) click the search bar title Appointment Search – Current Appointments.

In the search that opens, change Saved Search to - All -

Change the Search Field to Appointment Type and Type.

In Search For add Director as your value (or the Appointment Type you are searching for) and click the Search button

All Appointments will display.

To now Edit an Appointment from the search results list, click on the Edit icon.

To change the Appointment Type, in the Title field, click the lookup list (binoculars icon) to see the list of Appointment Types.

Please note: If changing an Appointment Type, first determine whether the change is due to an error (e.g., the wrong appointment type was initially selected) or if this is actually for a new appointment instance. If it is a new appointment, you must end date or resign the current appointment type before creating a new appointment entry for the appointee.

Click the Appointment Type green link to select the desired appointment type from the list.

Make any other edits or updates to the appointee data and click Save.
