Use GEMS Data in an Orbitax Chart

Updated over 8 months ago

Introduction

Via a licensed module, GEMS data and the Orbitax Entity Designer can be integrated allowing your GEMS entity information to be charted in the Orbitax Entity Designer. Users with this module activated will be able to access this feature through the Charting Hub in GEMS and will find new dedicated tiles for this functionality.

GEMS data can be integrated into the Orbitax Entity Designer through a few simple steps. Once in Orbitax Entity Designer, the information can manipulate to create a chart that gives an in-depth view of the organization. Then that chart can be saved locally as a PDF or Microsoft Word file and uploaded to GEMS and stored as a Document.

Please note: The Computershare Entity Solutions Support Team is responsible only for the integration of GEMS data into Orbitax. Once logged into Orbitax, users will need to reach out to Orbitax for further support.

Review Licensing Fees

Orbitax integration does come with a licensing fee. To request a quote, reach out to your Computershare Entity Solutions Customer Service Representative or [email protected].

Activate GEMS and Orbitax Integration

If you've agreed to pay the licensing fees for Orbitax integration, the CES Support Team will activate the module, granting you full access to Orbitax Entity Designer features from the Charting Hub.

The CES Support Team will also create an Advanced Search with Orbitax Export on your database. This Search returns the data that Orbitax will use to create a chart and should not be modified without consulting with the Support Team first.
