Introduction

GEMS AI can translate a DOCX or text-based PDF document from one language to another, allowing you to quickly and accurately translate documents to improve accessibility. Currently, GEMS AI supports translation between 20 different languages; for a list of supported languages, see Languages supported by GEMS AI translation, below.

Translate a document

In this scenario, we'll translate a meeting's call to order document from English to French for the benefit of a French-speaking colleague.

1. Locate your document within GEMS and tick the checkbox next to its name.

2. Locate and select the GEMS AI icon.

3. Click Translate Document.

3. Enter the language you'd like the document to be translated into (see Languages supported by GEMS AI translation, below, for a list of supported languages), then click the Go arrow button.

Your document translation appears in a new panel.
