If the creator of your chart included a legend explaining the chart's various shapes and colors, GEMS stores that legend as a sub-chart, accessible through the Sub-Charts icon on the chart toolbar.
Open a Legend 1. Navigate to a chart and select Sub-Charts on the left toolbar to open the Sub Charts panel. |

2. Click the LEGENDS button to open the legend. |
