Understand GEMS responsive interface
The GEMS interface is designed to be responsive and will adapt to a global entities’ preferred terminology including region-specific labels, field titles and business rules. This ensures a region-appropriate experience for users.

Avoid using your browser’s navigation
An important thing to know about GEMS is that it does not work with your browser’s navigation.
Do not use your browser’s back button, refresh command or close button as GEMS will not respond correctly to these commands and may log you out of GEMS (potentially causing you to lose work).
To navigate back: Use the GEMS back arrow or select the Home icon to return to the Home Hub. |

To Refresh: After editing data or changing a date in GEMS, use the Refresh option located in the User menu to update your database. |

To Logout: To protect your data, always end your GEMS session by selecting Logout in the User menu. |
