Tag documents with GEMS AI Document Tagging
GEMS AI Document Tagging is available when uploading one or more documents through the Documents Hub.
In this scenario, we are uploading three documents containing the minutes of three different Director appointments to the company Calyptus Innovations Inc. We would like GEMS AI to automatically apply relevant tags, such as their related entities and a relevant Minutes categorization, to these documents as we upload them.
1. Open the Documents Hub and select Add Documents.
2. Click SELECT FILES to select the appropriate files from your computer.
3. Confirm that the appropriate files have been selected within the box underneath the SELECT FILES button. In this example, we see the three minutes documents related to the three different Directors.
4. Locate and click the GEMS AI icon to open the GEMS AI Assistant.
5. Click the Tag Documents button inside the GEMS AI Assistant.
6. Review the various tags that GEMS AI filled in within the Document Properties section based on its analysis of the documents. When uploading multiple documents, GEMS AI will only fill in those tags that are common to all documents at this stage.
In this scenario, GEMS AI determined that all three documents are related to Calyptus Innovations Inc., are Appointment Minutes, and belong to the category Minutes.
7. Add any additional tags or modify the automatic tags as needed, then click NEXT. In this scenario, we will add minutes and director to the keywords before clicking NEXT.
8. Review the Add Documents- Summary page, as GEMS AI may provide additional tags unique to the individual documents. In this scenario, GEMS AI has tagged each document with a unique Document Date value.
9. Modify the document properties and tags as necessary, then click UPLOAD & SAVE.
