Session Objective
The purpose of this session is to guide you through the process of designing and implementing customized compliance workflows with GEMS.
While the workflow we’ll be working on today may not directly apply to your specific needs, the goal is to equip you with the essential skills to confidently create and customize your own workflows moving forward.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
Build a Compliance Tracker workflow
Task 1 - Configure workflow details
Step 1: Add the the Workflow Description [your initials Add a New Bank].
Step 2: Add a new Activity Type [your initials New Bank US].
Step 3: Leave Owners and Default Assignees checkboxes empty
Task 2 - Configure activity creation and filter options
Step 1: We want this workflow to be triggered automatically when adding a new Bank in Delaware.
Task 3 - Configure the activity details screen- displayed fields
Step 1: We want the following activity details to to be displayed in this workflow; Activity Type, Activity Title, Description, Status, Entities, Due Date, Owners, Assignees, Date Closed, Notes
Task 4 - Add to-do items
Step 1: create the Business Bank Account list of to-do items, they must all be done in the order below. Supporting documentation is needed when assigning authorized signatures and notifying stakeholders. Each to-do items due date needs to be between 5-10 days before the 'due date'. None of the to-do items need a report to be generated.
Assign authorized signatories
Set up online banking access
Link accounting software
Update internal records
Update financial system
Notify stakeholder
Task 5- Configuration - Screen Profile(s)
Step 1: We want the activity due date to be created when someone updates the Banking screen and field effective from date. We also need the activity due date to automatically calculate to 1 month from the effective from date.
Task 6 - Ensure this workflow does not re-occur and test the workflow
