Introduction
This article reviews features within GEMS available to clients using Computershare’s Registered Agent service.
Review locations of Registered Agent information in GEMS
Registered Agent information can be found in the following areas of GEMS:
Registered Agent Homepage Tab: Centralized, read-only view of RA related data across your US legal entities. Used for visibility and tracking; it does not replace RA communications, filings, or jurisdictional regulatory processes. See this article for more information.
Registered Agent Dashboard (only available to Administrators by default): Graphs and lists of Service of Processes and RA actions with more detail than the RA Homepage Tab. Panels update automatically from system data. Admins may grant access to other users. Panels available include:
Service of Process by type and status
Historical and upcoming filings
Domestic and foreign units
Service fee summaries
Orders by state
See this article for more information.
Orders Hub – Registered Agent services: Used to submit and track RA service orders. Availability and status details may vary by service and environment.
Acknowledge Services of Process (SOPs) (tracking only)
SOP acknowledgement can be completed on the Registered Agent Homepage Tab and Registered Agent Dashboard for tracking/audit purposes.
Watch this video to learn how to acknowledge SOPs in GEMS.
Please note: Acknowledging SOPs in GEMS does not replace formal Registered Agent processes.
Update Registered Agent information using SuperAdmin
Authorized SuperAdmins can use bulk update templates to remediate missing/incomplete data uncovered by data reviews. SuperAdmin templates used for RA data include:
RA Appointees Address
RA Company Address
RA Company Appointees
RA Company Basic
RA Company Securities and Non‑Capital Ownership
See this article to learn more about SuperAdmin.
Review responsibilities and support options
Contact GEMS Support, your RA Account Manager, or your Project Manager for questions around supported Registered Agents, access, Homepages/Dashboards, or SuperAdmin template help.
