Introduction
Details on a Business Entity's (Company's) foreign qualifications, such as a qualification's jurisdiction, date qualified, agent and agent history, assumed name, and any related Activities, can be found in the Foreign Qualifications Snapshot panel.
The Foreign Qualifications panel displays those qualifications that are current as of the date present in the Snapshot's Date As Of (Date As At) field.
Please note: As of GEMS 12.6, releasing July 2026, a qualification is considered current if both its Date of Withdrawal and Date of Expiry properties are blank or later than the date in the Snapshot's Date As Of field. In GEMS 12.5 and earlier versions, the Foreign Qualifications panel only checks a qualification's Date of Withdrawal field to determine if it is current.
Most data is displayed as plain text, but Agent History and related Activities require the user to click the relevant button to view their full details.
Find Foreign Qualification details in the Foreign Qualifications panel
In this scenario, we'd like to view the related Activities for the company AM Global's Arizona foreign qualification. We can find this information directly from the Snapshot's Foreign Qualifications panel.
1. Navigate to the desired entity's Snapshot. In this scenario, we'll navigate to AM Global's Snapshot.
2. Locate the entity's Foreign Qualifications panel.
3. Locate the individual qualification you're looking for and its related properties. In this scenario, we'll locate the Arizona foreign qualification and then its Activities.
4. Click a property's corresponding button, if available, to view more details. In this scenario, we'll click the 0 Active | 2 Closed button.
In this scenario, a new panel containing more details on the Activities opens.
