This article outlines the new features, enhancements, and updates included in the GEMS 12.7 release available October 2026. Features are grouped by jurisdiction and apply to all jurisdictions unless otherwise stated.

References to the GEMS Help Center may appear throughout these notes. The Help Center can be accessed via the Information Center icon within GEMS.

To provide greater visibility into historical changes made within GEMS, a new Change Summary feature is now available in a Preview state. Users who have been granted access to the Change Summary via their User Details page can search for and report on record changes, including what changed, who made the change, and when the change occurred.

Change Summaries can be used in the Reporting Module, Dashboards, and API integrations, enabling reporting on historical activity and helping integration solutions process only updated information. Several example searches are included to help users get started.

New: Document uploads are now supported through the GEMS API

To support integration and automation scenarios, GEMS now enables documents and related document information to be uploaded directly through the GEMS API. This enhancement helps organizations streamline document management processes and reduce manual upload activities.

Update: Document upload experience enhanced with ADD MORE DOCUMENTS button

To simplify document management, the upload workflow has been enhanced. Users can now continue uploading additional files using the new ADD MORE DOCUMENTS button and edit document information directly after upload without performing a separate search.

Update: Activity Workflow notifications enhanced

To improve visibility of workflow-generated Activities, GEMS now provides pop-up notifications when background Activity creation starts and when it is complete. Users can also open generated Activities directly from notifications, reducing the need to perform additional searches.

Update: Charting Comparison Reports now display Date Disposed information

To improve reporting accuracy, Charting Comparison Reports can now display Date Disposed information for entities that have been removed between comparison dates. This enhancement provides greater visibility into when entities left a group and supports the analysis of historical ownership and structural changes.

Update: Charting search usability improved

To improve usability within Charting searches, the Export action has been moved to a more accessible location, making it quicker and easier to export data.

Update: SuperAdmin Templates now highlight required fields

To simplify bulk data maintenance, several SuperAdmin Templates have been enhanced. Required fields are now identified with an asterisk (*), making them easier to identify and helping users complete template updates more accurately.

Update: SuperAdmin Templates now provide lookup values

To improve data quality and simplify template updates, available Lookup List values are now provided directly within several SuperAdmin Templates. This makes it easier for users to select valid values without needing to reference information elsewhere in GEMS.

Update: Compliance To-Do Item Template enhanced

To simplify the maintenance of Compliance To-Do Item assignments, the Compliance To-Do Item Template now supports bulk updates to assignee-related fields. This enables administrators to update assignments across multiple records through a single template upload, reducing manual maintenance effort.

New: Appointment Service Address UK Template now available

To support the efficient maintenance of director information, a new Appointment Service Address UK Template is now available. This template enables users to add, update, or delete service addresses for directors of UK companies through a bulk upload process.

Update: Single Sign-On enhancements

To improve security and simplify access management, several enhancements have been made to Single Sign-On functionality. Organizations can now support tenant-specific login URLs, making it easier for users to access GEMS through their organisation's login process.

New: Delaware Nature of Business fields added to RA Company Basics SuperAdmin Template

To support Delaware-specific company maintenance requirements, the Delaware Nature of Business field is now available on both the Formation Screen and within the RA Company Basics Template. Users can view, add, and update these values directly within GEMS.
