View changes made in GEMS with the Change Summary

Introduction

The Change Summary gives users a clear and consolidated view of changes made in GEMS. By presenting changes together in a summarized format, it can provide details that may not be fully represented in the Audit Trail.

As of GEMS 12.7, the Change Summary is available in a Preview state. Users may use the Change Summary while it is available as a Preview, but its functionality is subject to change based on feedback.

Please note: Change records will begin being recorded by GEMS on October 19, 2026, and only changes made on or after that date will be available in the Change Summary.

Review Access Permissions

Only users who have the Show Change Summary box ticked on their User Profile will have access to the Change Summary. All Administrators will have this box ticked by default.
