GEMS Charting is a licensed module. By default, all GEMS users can launch new charts, view public charts created by other users, examine data within a chart, create chart reports, and export a chart.
Special GEMS users called Charting Tool Edit Users can perform the same functions as all other users, and they can also save a created chart, manage Saved Charts, and, via Edit Mode on a created chart, modify the visual appearance of chart boxes and lines.
GEMS users can view their status as a Charting Browse or Edit User within their User Details> Basics page. Administrators can edit this page to grant a user Charting Tool Edit User status or revoke it.
Please note: Your GEMS license determines how many Charting Tool Edit Users are allowed for your database. To view your license details, navigate to Admin> GEMS Settings> Product Information.
