Updated over 9 months ago

The fields within a chart's boxes can be changed and hidden.

To change which fields are available within a box, modify the Search that is used to create the chart before generating the chart. See this article for more information.

To hide fields from boxes on a chart that has already been created, do the following:

Please note: Hiding fields from boxes in a chart is only available to Charting Tool Edit Users. For information on Charting Tool Edit Users, see this article.

Make sure Edit Mode is on by clicking the Edit Mode icon until a pencil appears in the icon.

To hide particular data fields from the box, click the checkboxes in the Display column next to the appropriate fields so that a checkmark is no longer present. To display fields, click their checkboxes so that a checkmark is present.

Select whether the changes should apply to the currently selected box, all boxes, all selected boxes, or all boxes highlighted by a search by selecting the desired option in the “Apply Changes To” field.

Please note: If multiple boxes are selected, the current box is defined as the box that was selected most recently.

Click Apply.
