A Template is a collection of rules regarding the conditional formatting, filters, sub-charts, and individual boxes’ Box Styles that can be applied to a chart. For more information on creating Templates, see Save a Chart as a Template.
Templates can be applied to a chart after it has been created, or they can be applied during the creation process.
Please note: When a Template is applied after a chart has been created, the saved Template’s settings around sub-charts and filters will not be applied. To apply all of a Template’s settings, including sub-charts and filters, the Template needs to be applied during the chart creation process.
