Charts may be reduced to those entities that meet specified criteria. Connecting entities that do not meet the criteria will be shown but will appear different to the target entities.
Add a Filter Prior to a Chart being Launched
When creating a chart, click on Filters.
To filter for certain boxes, click the Add Criteria button on the Filters panel to create a search criterion. Enter the desired conditions in the fields on each line.

Delete a criterion using the Delete icon.
Click Add Criteria again to add additional criteria. Enter the desired conditions in the fields on each line. To access the ability to re-order criteria and to group criteria with parentheses, click the Advanced checkbox.
After clicking the Advanced checkbox, re-order the criteria as needed using the Move Up and Move Down icons. Filter criteria are applied to the chart in order starting from the top; consequently, if multiple filters apply to the same box, only the bottom-most of those filters will be displayed on the chart.
To group criteria, use the parentheses fields.
Once the criteria have been set, click Launch Chart.
Add a Filter After a Chart has been Launched
To add a filter, click the Filters icon to open the Filters panel.
There are three Filtered Box Styes available to choose from
Filtered – Title Only
Contains only the entity’s name in the box.
Filtered – All Data
Contains all box data but greys out any colors present.
Collapsed
Shrinks the box present on the screen and displays no entity data.
To filter for certain boxes from the Filters panel, do the following:

For example, if users wanted to only see boxes that contained entities whose name contains the string Education and whose jurisdiction is DE, they should enter the conditions as seen below:
To remove a criterion, click the Delete icon.
To access the ability to re-order criteria and to group criteria with parentheses, click the checkbox next to Advanced.
After clicking the Advanced checkbox, re-order the criteria as needed using the Move Up and Move Down icons. To apply the filter, click Apply. To cancel, click the Close icon in the top right corner of the panel.
After a filter has been applied, to remove it, click the Filters icon again and use the Delete button as seen above.
