Transferring Share Capital
To transfer the share capital in a company/business from one entity or another, choose to add a new security transaction via the dedicated screen or Snapshot panel on the entity the share capital is to be transferred.
Please note: Transfer transactions are commonly used for both transfers within a group of entities or to entities outside of the group e.g. as the result of a Sale.
Select “Transfer” security transaction type from the drop-down menu and enter the details of the transfer.
Please Note: Not all available fields are shown in the above image, further fields are available upon scrolling.
Complete the details on the new security transaction screen. Some of the key details are:
Registered Holder
Beneficial Holder
Security
Transfer to Registered Holder
Transfer to Beneficial Holder
Date Transferred
Click the Save button to create the security transaction and dispose of the share.
