Share-related transactions in GEMS may be recorded either via the Dedicated Shareholder/Stockholder Screen within the View More Details menu or via the Dedicated Panel on the Snapshot

Increase a Shareholder/Stockholder balance
1. Navigate to the Stockholder/Shareholder panel within the entity snapshot. Click Actions>New>Balance.
2. A new Balance Transaction screen will open. Add the Stockholder/Shareholder you would like to increase the balance of to the Registered Holder field. Select the Security and Balance Date fields and fill in as these are mandatory fields. Input the number of shares you want to increase the holding by in the Balance Amount field.
Complete any other fields as necessary and click Save.
The Shareholder percentage will now be increased.
Recording transactions via the Dedicated Panel on the Snapshot.
Shareholder/Stockholder transaction information may be recorded via the dedicated Shareholder/Stockholder Panel on the Snapshot. This can be accessed by selecting the Actions button on the Snapshot panel.
Then select New and the relevant transaction type to begin recording the transaction details.

Delete a Stockholder/Shareholder
1.Open the entity snapshot and navigate to the Stockholder panel. Click the Folder symbol next to the Stockholder you wish to delete. This will open up all the transactions for that stockholder. You will need to delete each individual transaction to fully delete the Shareholder/Stockholder.
2. To delete an individual transaction click the 3 dots next to a transaction and click Open.
3. This will open the transaction in more detail, click Delete.
4. Tick the Delete Disposal Transaction Details checkbox and click Submit.
Only repeat if you wish to delete all individual transactions for the selected Stockholder. If all transactions are deleted then the Stockholder will be removed.
