Introduction
To change the beneficial owner of company shares, do the following:
Click the “Folder” button on the Shareholder/Stockholder panel on the Company Snapshot.
Please Note: If the Shareholder panel is not present on the Company Snapshot OR you would like to edit a no-longer-current shareholder transaction, navigate to the Shareholder/Stockholder Summary Screen for the company that issued the shares and click Transactions.
If accessing the transactions using the folder icon on the Snapshot, you can then select the ellipsis icon on the relevant transaction to edit it. If accessing through the Shareholder/Stockholder screen, click on the Edit icon next to the transaction to be modified.
Select the new beneficial owner from the dropdown list or search for it using the search icon next to the "Beneficial Holder" field.
Click the Save button to save the change to the beneficial owner.
