Introduction
GEMS Administrators can manage, modify, customize, and create new Snapshot layouts using the Manage Snapshots panel located on one of their GEMS Homepage Tabs.
By default, the Manage Snapshots panel can be found on a Homepage Tab called Admin, but it may have been moved for your database, so please check each Homepage Tab available to you when looking for it.
If you do not see the Manage Snapshots panel on one of your Homepage Tabs and you are an Administrator, you can add it to any Homepage Tab of your choosing.
Add the Manage Snapshots Panel to a Homepage Tab
Administrators can add the Manage Snapshots panel to any of their Homepage Tabs through the Page Settings menu.
1. Open the Homepage Tab where you'd like the Manage Snapshots panel to go. In the example below, we'll add it to a Homepage Tab called Admin.
2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of GEMS, then select Page Settings. This opens the Page Settings bar across the top of your GEMS page.
3. Locate the Panel Catalog option within the Page Settings section to see a list of panels that can be added to your Homepage Tab.
4. Tick the Manage Snapshots checkbox.
5. Click the Add button.
6. The Manage Snapshots panel will now be displayed on the Homepage Tab you opened in step 1. Close the Page Settings bar via the Close button.
From your Manage Snapshots panel, you can now create new Snapshot layouts and customize existing layouts. See the Snapshot Management section of the GEMS Help Center to learn more.
