Verification Snapshots

Updated over a year ago

Verification snapshots typically contain the entity information that needs to be audited in the verification phase. They are created in the same way as other custom snapshots except that they are not necessarily associated with a specific user role. To create a snapshot that is not linked to a user role, select the ‘No Role’ option while creating the verification snapshot. Selecting this option hides the other user roles.

Verification snapshots are linked to the verification phase using the Verification Wizard. Please see the ‘Verifications Tutorial’ for more details.

If an entity is included in one or more verification phases, and the logged-in user is an updater, verifier, and/ or approver for that entity, they can view verification-related snapshots for that entity. To do this, do the following:

Open the snapshot of the legal entity.

From the ‘Verifications’ drop-down list located under the entity name, select the audit you want to view. This opens the entity snapshot associated with the selected audit.

To close the verification snapshot, select Standard View from the ‘Verifications’ dropdown list.

You are returned to the default entity snapshot that you were viewing earlier. You can now select a different verification phase to view the associated snapshot for the entity.
