To view a full history of the verification changes that an entity has gone through, do the following:
Click the Search Hub icon to access the basic Search bar.
Select the “Verification Entities” or “Verification Entities Current” search (see Verification Searches for details of the different verification searches available) and then select “Verification Status History” in the “Screen” drop-down list.
Using this search, you can see the verification history of individual entities as they move from “Outstanding” to “Ready for Verification” to “Not Verified (Rejected)” or “Verified (Approved).” You can also see the Internal Contact Type and specific user performing each action and any comments entered during rejection and verification.
There are also some events that result in automatic verification status changes. These events also populate the “Comments” field with information about the status change. Examples of these are:
Event | Verification Status | Verification Comment |
A Change Request has been created (using the Approvals functionality) on an entity that had a Status of "Ready for Verification" | "Ready for Verification" changed to "Not Verified" | Change request submitted, verification status reset to Outstanding. |
A Verification Phase’s "Escalate UnVerified Entities" date has been reached/passed | "Outstanding" or "Ready for Verification" changed to "Not Verified" | Updated to Not Verified as "Escalate UnVerified Entities" date has been surpassed. |
A Verification Phase’s "End Verification Phase" has been reached | "Outstanding" or "Ready for Verification" changed to "Not Verified" | Updated to Not Verified as "End Verification Phase" date has been surpassed. |
You can save this search and display it in a Snapshot panel on the entity Snapshot. This will provide you with an instant idea of the verification history of the entity you are looking at. Please see Customize the Panels and Screens on a New Company Snapshot for details on how to add a panel to a snapshot.
