Introduction
In order to use entity fields to track information related to the Corporate Transparency Act and file Beneficial Ownership Information Reports with FinCEN via GEMS, Administrator Users need to enable the fields via the System Management section of GEMS.
Accessing System Management
Administrator Users can access System Management by navigating to Admin > GEMS Settings > System Management.
Enabling CTA-Related Fields within System Management
In the Menu on the lefthand side, navigate to Options > General.
Click Edit.
Locate the "US Corporate Transparency Act (FinCEN)" section.
Ensure the "Enable fields to capture Corporate Transparency Act information" checkbox is checked.
Click Save.
