Find Privileged Information for a Person

Locate the several Privileged Information Screens for your Person entities

Updated over 7 months ago

Introduction

Person entities in GEMS contain four Privileged Information Screens that can track potentially sensitive data related to the person, such as identification numbers, birth dates, remuneration details, and bank accounts the person is a signatory on.

The four Privileged Information Screens are Basics, Remuneration Details, Social Security Details, and Bank Account Signatory. These Screens can be opened from a Person entity's Snapshot and are all grouped under a Privileged Information heading to distinguish them from other Screens.

Please note: The Social Security Details Screen has different names depending on the business rules GEMS is using when viewing the Person entity:

  • Tax File Number Details (Australia)

  • Social Insurance Details (Canada and Ireland)

  • National Insurance Details (Germany and the United Kingdom)

  • Identity Card Number (Hong Kong)

Open a Privileged Information Screen

In this example, we'll locate the FinCEN ID, an identification number used in the United States, for a Person entity in our database named Glen James. This particular field is stored on the Basics Screen under the Privileged Information heading.

1. Navigate to the Person entity's Snapshot, then click View More Details.

2. Locate the Privileged Information section, then select the Screen you need to open. In this scenario, we'll select Basics.

3. The Screen you selected opens. Locate your desired field; in this scenario, we'll locate FinCEN ID.

Please note: There is also a Basics Screen under the Person Details heading as well, but this is a distinct Screen with different data.
